Auburn in October
Grapes and apricots, cheese
and crackers.
Two bodies in one cot,
pleasing fireworks.
Mineral water, heaven's
daughter:
Touching, caressing, boldly
expressing...
Love in pitch black, her
Soft hand across my chest
lurks
Into secret places, stroking
faces,
Cups of tea and Celtic harps,
Camembert and we're bare too.
Custody: of each other 'til
dawn breaks
The spell.
Now comes the sweet hell, of
parting.
